Workshops are going to be provided by IEEE. In the past we have held several workshops that we would like to keep on providing. The purpose of these workshops is to develop and enhance your hands-on skills. Previous workshops topics dealt with how to program robots, drawing data from sensors, working with moving motors, using encoders to measure rotation, designing a PID Controller with motors and sensors using basic C programming language.
Come to the Arduino workshops, where we will teach you how a microcontroller can be used. You will learn how to program, connect and interact with different electronic parts. This includes LEDs, Motors and Infrared Sensors (IR).
WORKSHOP OBJECTIVE IS TO TEACH STUDENTS HOW TO:
-USE A MICROCONTROLLER TO TURN AN LED ON AND OFF
-USE A MICROCONTROLLER TO ADJUST THE BRIGHTNESS OF AN LED.
-USE A MICROCONTROLLER TO TURN A DC MOTOR ON ,OFF AND CHANGE DIRECTIONS
-USE A MICROCONTROLLER TO ADJUST THE SPEED OF A DC MOTOR.
-USE A MICROCONTROLLER TO RECEIVE INPUT FROM AN IR SENSOR.
-USE A MICROCONTROLLER TO USE AN IR SENSOR TO CONTROL AN LED OR MOTOR.
-LEARN HOW TO SOLDER.
-LEARN HOW TO USE EAGLE CAD A PCB DESIGN SOFTWARE PACKAGE.
