The dress code will be business casual.

6. How do I book hotel
rooms? Is there is discount?
The AICPA has negotiated special discount rates for attendees
of the meeting. Hotel rooms will be approximately $125/night
including tax and parking. Please call the DoubleTree
Hotel at (714) 634-4500 to make reservations and mention
the 2006 Western Regional Meeting to receive the discount.
7. Can I book my hotel
room online and receive the discount?
The only way to receive the discount rate is to call the
hotel directly to book accommodations.
8. What type of accommodations
does the hotel offer?
The newly-renovated guestrooms feature spacious work areas,
2 dual-line telephones, coffee/coffeemaker, iron and ironing
board, and color television with cable. Pay-per-view movies,
Nintendo video games and wireless high-speed internet
access are also available.
9. I will be flying to
California. Which airport should I use?
We highly recommend flying into John Wayne Airport (SNA)
in Orange County, CA. Travel time from this airport is
the shortest in comparison to Los Angeles International
Airport (LAX) and Ontario Airport (ONT).
10. How many students from
each chapter can attend the conference?
We encourage chapters to bring as many students as they
possibly can. This year’s event will be filled with
excitement and we would love everyone to participate in
11. I noticed the program
has time allotted for “Fun at Disneyland and California
Adventure.” What does that mean?
It means fun at Disneyland and California Adventure! When
you come to sunny Southern California, going to Disneyland
is a must. Twilight discount theme park tickets are available
for conference participants. Each ticket will cost approximately
$32 per person. Come join us at Space Mountain, have a
funnel cake, or take pictures with Mickey and his friends!
12. Besides going to theme
parks, what else can I do?
The hotel is centrally located near world famous shopping
centers, great restaurants and famous California attractions.

13. How will the weather
be in February 2006?
The average temperature in February for Anaheim is from
the high 60F’s to the high 40F’s. If you would

14. What should I pack
for my visit?
Be prepared for anything. By this we mean pack jackets,
sweaters, and an umbrella, just in case. Please do not
forget your business casual attire!
