MEMBERSHIP

Membership in the Iota chapter of Alpha Kappa Delta, a National Sociological Honors Society requires a grade point average of 3.0 or greater in sociology and a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 or higher. The applicant must be a junior, senior, or graduate sociology major or minor student. Membership fee is $49.00 of which $40.00 entitles you to a lifetime membership in the National AKD, and one year subscription to Sociological Inquiry, a sociology journal. The additional $9.00 is the local chapter fee. Applications can be picked up from the sociology department at King Hall-C3093 .
