Becoming a Member
Undergraduates:
-
Sociology
major or minor
-
At least
junior standing
-
Cumulative
grade point average of at least 3.3
-
Minimum of
3.0 GPA for sociology courses taken at CSULA
-
Must have
completed at least 4 regular courses in Sociology at CSULA
Graduates:
-
Completion of at least two quarters of graduate study in sociology at CSULA
-
Graduate
GPA of 3.0 or better
-
Continuing
enrollment in the graduate program
Membership fee is $49.00 of which $40.00
entitles you to a lifetime membership in the National AKD, and one
year subscription to Sociological Inquiry, a sociology journal. The
additional $9.00 is the local chapter fee. Applications can be
picked up from the
sociology department at King Hall-C3093.
