Filing for Graduation

Please make an appointment with an NSS Academic Advisor for a graduation check.

In preparation for your graduation check appointment, it is your responsibility to:

  • Review your CSU Academic Advisement Report (CAAR Report on GET) prior to your visit
  • Print and completely fill out your graduation application (please review PPT provided under Resources section)
  • Bring a program sheet for your major

Reviewing your records, and having an understanding of the requirements you still have left is a critical step in preparation for your appointment.  This helps to facilitate an accurate and meaningful conversation with your advisor regarding your academic plan.

Once approved and signed by an advisor, you will then take the signed graduation application and pay the appropriate fees. Remember, registration appointments will only be assigned to continuing students (For example: if you filed for Fall 2017 graduation, you will not be able to register for Spring 2018 coursework).  If you need to change your graduation term, please fill out a Request to Change Graduation Term and submit it to ADM 409.

Please Note:

The following majors must complete their graduation check with their department chair and/or faculty advisor.  Please visit or contact your major department to schedule or get more details:
