Cal State LA students are future leaders in the criminal justice system. They have all the characteristics to become outstanding justice professionals and scholars, such as passion and dedication. The criminal justice and criminology field has moved into a paradigm in which scientific evidence has been increasingly used to inform crime control policies. We must prepare this fantastic group of students with the scientific perspective, knowledge, and critical thinking skills they need to deal with justice and public health problems effectively.

Construction, Validation, and Application of Adult and Juvenile Risk and Needs Assessment (RNA) instruments; Program/Policy Evaluation, and Quantitative Methods.
