Lessons

Overview

The Lesson activity module enables an instructor to deliver content and/or practice activities through a series of HTML pages that include either content or a question. Lessons are built through the creation of either Content or Question pages. The pages lead the student through the lesson, which may be linear or branching depending on the instructor's vision.

Why Use Lessons?

The main difference between a Lesson and other activity modules available in Moodle comes from its adaptive ability. With this tool, any choice/answer/button a student selects may lead to a different page than the other choices/answers/buttons available. With planning, the Lesson module can customize the presentation of content and questions to each student with no further action required by the teacher. This makes the Lesson activity module a versatile teaching tool.
