Minor in Child and Family Studies

The minor in Child Development provides a foundation for students majoring in other disciplines who wish to increase their understanding and knowledge about child and family development. Students pursuing careers in family law, health, media services, nursing, psychology, speech, or urban studies, among others majors would find this minor useful for their careers.
A total of 27 units are required for this minor.  Prerequisites are required for some courses; students should consult with an advisor.
