Congratulations to LSAMP-BD Cohort XI Fellows for winning in their respective categories at the  23rd Annual Cal State L.A. Symposium on Research, Scholarship and Creative Activity on February 27, 2015. Edith Soto (pictured on the left) received 1st place for her oral presentation titled "Temperature Determination of Young Stellar Objects in near star forming regions." Kumar Tiger (pictured on the right) received 1st place for his poster presentation titled "Identifying MyoD knockdown cell lines using qRT-PCR assays for MyoD and Myogenin mRNAs."
