tours.
Tours are designed as an orientation to the Library's many services,
collections and other resources. Students attending an orientation tour
as part of a class assignment can receive written verification of attendance
upon request. You do NOT need to register for these tours in advance.
Classes
- Library 250, Research Skills Course
Library 250 is taught by Library faculty with extensive reference
and instruction experience. Classes consist of lectures, discussions,
and hands-on computer laboratories. You can find the course schedule
in Schedule
of Classes online or the printed
class schedule.
- Course-Integrated Library Instruction
Course-integrated
library instruction classes are designed to prepare you for
your assignments. Generally, professors make arrangements with the
Library for such sessions. You should come to this type of library
session with a defined topic and basic understanding of your information
needs and requirements.
