General Information
The
Circulation Desk staff and students will help you with: borrowing books & course reserve
items; picking up materials you requested through Interlibrary Loan; lost-and-found;
and paying your (oh no you didn't!) overdue book
fines.
- How do I check out books?
- Your Golden
Eagle Card (your student ID) serves as your library card
Applies to: currently enrolled CSULA & LACHSA students,
staff, and faculty
- Guest Cards for book borrowing
Are issued to: 1) Extended Ed Students 2)
Temporary & Part-time Faculty

CSULA Alumni Association Members 4) Local High School
students
5) Community members who join the "Friends
of the Library"
- Mutual Use Borrowers
Use your school ID card
Note: Alumni Association
members and community members must give the Library their Social Security number
to establish a Library file. This and all other personal information will be
held only in confidential files, which require staff to enter a password for
access.
- Services Provided:
- Books: check out
- Reserves: pick up and check out
- Interlibrary Loan: pick up and check out
- Holds: place, pick up and check out
- Fines: pay invoices and overdue fees
- Book Sale: sell items
- Lost-and-found: manage (for the entire Library)
