Program Description

The Counseling program in the Charter College of Education has both an undergraduate and a graduate program.  The program offers a Bachelor of Science Degree in Rehabilitation Services. This program trains students for employment in a variety of rehabilitation-oriented settings, and also prepares students to pursue graduate work in a variety of counseling specialties. The graduate counseling program consists of a Master of Science Degree in Counseling with the following options and specializations: Applied Behavior Analysis; Marriage and Family Counseling; Rehabilitation Counseling;

Rehabilitation Services (undergraduate); School Counseling: Behavior Intervention Case Management track; School Counseling: School Based Family Counseling track; School Counseling: School Counseling Leadership; School Psychology. The last four of these specialties also lead to credentials enabling a counselor to work in K-12 public schools.

Students working towards degrees in School Counseling and Rehabilitation are also supported by materials selected by other academic divisions, departments, or programs, such as Special Education, Psychology, Kinesiology and Nutritional Science, or Nursing.
