Additional training resources are available to help Cal State L.A. students, faculty and staff learn how to use various applications.

• Microsoft Office for Windows Training
  Microsoft offers self-paced training courses and video tutorials on Microsoft Office for Windows. Each course consists of one or more lessons that cover specific features of a program. Most lessons include a practice session and a quick reference guide. These courses can be used to learn new skills or to refresh skills that are used once in a while.
• Microsoft Office for Mac Training
  Microsoft offers self-paced training courses and video tutorials on Microsoft Office for Mac. These tutorials guide users through the user interface elements and show them how to do some basic tasks. Users can take a step-by-step approach to learning by starting with the basics and working their way through more advanced topics and tasks.
• Windows 7 Getting Started and Windows 7 Help & How-to
  Microsoft offers multiple training resources on Windows 7. The articles and how-to videos cover the new features of Windows 7 and include topics such as getting started, installation, personalization, security, getting online and troubleshooting.
• Quick Reference Guides
  CustomGuide provides quick reference guides on a variety of applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite. These guides are concise and include step-by-step instructions. They can be used as a training tool by beginners or can serve as a reference for more experienced users.
