Quarantine Manager Training

Quarantine Manager Training

Spam Digest Overview

The Spam Digest (see Figure 1) is an e-mail message that you will begin receiving once you subscribe to the anti-spam service. The digest lists all e-mail messages that were quarantined the previous day. You will receive one Spam Digest per day provided that messages were quarantined.

Note:  If you delete or release a message from the Quarantine Manager the same day it is quarantined, the message will still be listed on the Spam Digest the next day.

The Spam Digest provides the following information for each quarantined e-mail message:

  • ID: the ID number can be used to release a message from the quarantine.
  • Time: the time the message was received.
  • Score: the spam probability score.
  • From: the e-mail address of the sender.
  • Subject: the subject of the message.

Note:  If you see the word blocked under the Score column, the sender is either being blocked by you or the anti-spam service.
