How to Release E-mail Messages from the Spam Digest
Users can release a single message or all messages from a Spam Digest. When users release a quarantined message, it gets delivered to their Inbox.
Note It may take up to 15 minutes for a released message to be delivered to a user’s Inbox.
To release a single message:
- Open Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Web Access (OWA).
Note If you are using a web-based e-mail client other than OWA, you must use the Quarantine Manager to release a single message.
- Open the Spam Digest that contains the message you want to release.
- Click the ID number of the message you want to release. A new message window opens.

- Click the Send button. The quarantined message is automatically released and sent to your Inbox.
To release all messages:
- Open Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Web Access (OWA).
- Open the Spam Digest that contains the messages you want to release.
- Click the Reply button. A new message window opens.
- Click the Send button. All quarantined messages are automatically released and sent to your Inbox.
