Quarantine Manager Overview
The Quarantine Manager is the web-based user interface portion of the anti-spam service. It allows users to subscribe to the anti-spam service, view and manage quarantined e-mail messages, as well as manage user-specific sender lists.
The Web Interface
The Quarantine Manager web interface is comprised of the following components:
- Navigation menu: the menu located on the left side of the page.
- View pane: the area to the right of the navigation menu. The view pane refreshes every time a user selects an option from the navigation menu.

The navigation menu contains links to the following:
- Blocked Messages: displays all quarantined e-mail messages.
- Deleted Messages: displays e-mail messages deleted by the user from the Blocked Messages page.
- Approved Senders: lists e-mail addresses that are known by the user to be legitimate sources of e-mail. E-mail messages from approved senders are delivered without being scanned for spam.
- Blocked Senders: lists e-mail addresses that are known by the user to distribute spam or viruses. E-mail messages originating from addresses in this list are blocked.
- Options: allows the user to subscribe to or unsubscribe from the anti-spam service.
- Help: takes the user to the Quarantine Manager Training website.
- Log Out: exits the user out of the Quarantine Manager.
