This Web site is designed to provide you with one central location for all Microsoft Outlook 2003 and Outlook Web Access (OWA) training resources and knowledge base. Within these Web pages you will find information about instructional handouts, workshops, and how to get help with your accounts.

We encourage you to visit this site on a regular basis for up-to-date information as more instructional materials are added.

  • Outlook Deleted Items Folder: To provide better performance of campus e-mail resources, all messages in the Deleted Items folder will be deleted automatically every Saturday, beginning March 8, 2008. Visit http://www.calstatela.edu/its/news to read the full announcement.
  • E-mail Account Size Limitations: A warning message will be issued when an account grows to 1.8 gigabytes. The user will still be able to send and receive e-mail messages, but cleaning up the account should begin at that time. When the 2 gigabyte limit is reached, additional warning messages will be issued; the user will still be able to receive e-mail, but will no longer be able to send e-mail until the account is reduced below the 2 gigabyte size limitation. If you receive a message indicating your account has exceeded the 2 gigabyte size limitation, click here for instructions on managing your account size.
  • Instructions for checking account size can be found in the Monitoring E-mail Account Size handout.
  • Outlook Handouts and Workbooks - Click here for step-by-step instructions on how to use Outlook Full Client software, OWA Premium, OWA Basic, and how to configure Entourage. The handouts and workbooks are presented as PDF files; Adobe Acrobat Reader is required. If you do not have Acrobat Reader, you can download it free at Adobe.com.  A valid CSLA or NIS account is required when accessing the workbooks.
