Just-in-time Learning

lynda.com Training
lynda.com is an online training program which currently provides 1,397 training videos. In addition, lynda.com continually creates new videos to keep up with emerging topics and tools. Viewers can stop, rewind and replay videos as needed. This is a great way to learn new skills or sharpen your skills at your own pace, on your own schedule. Training is available 24x7 at lynda.calstatela.edu and can be accessed by current Cal State L.A. students, faculty and staff with a myCSULA Identity account.
Moodle Courses
The ITS Training Program provides several online courses on Moodle. The courses include video tutorials, step-by-step handouts, practice data files, slide shows and assessments. In order to access these courses, users must log in to Moodle with a myCSULA Identity account.
Certificate of Completion
A certificate of completion can be obtained by those individuals who complete all parts of any online course on Moodle and receive at least an 80% score on the assessments. To receive a certificate, please e-mail your assessment scores to ITStraining@calstatela.edu.

The ITS Training Program provides several online training resources on Microsoft Office applications. The Microsoft Office Online Training page includes links to interactive tutorials, downloadable workbooks and data files, and step-by-step handouts that can be used for self-paced training. The interactive tutorials, workbooks and data files are password protected and can be accessed by current Cal State L.A. students, faculty and staff with a myCSULA Identity account.
Microsoft Outlook Tutorials
The ITS Training Program provides users with one central location for all Microsoft Outlook training resources. The Microsoft Outlook Tutorials page includes links to Outlook workbooks, handouts and workshops. The workbooks are password protected and can be accessed by current Cal State L.A. students, faculty and staff with a myCSULA Identity account.
IBM SPSS Statistics Tutorials
The ITS Training Program provides users with one central location for all IBM SPSS Statistics training resources. The IBM SPSS Statistics Tutorials page includes links to SPSS video tutorials, handouts and workshops provided by the ITS Training Program as well as other useful resources available on the web.
