How to Authenticate
The Microsoft Office interactive tutorials as well as the workbooks and data files provided on this website are password protected and require user authentication. The files can be accessed by current CSULA students, faculty, and staff with a valid AD, CSLA, NIS, or PINE account. Please contact the ITS Help Desk for any account related issues or questions.
Note Depending on your browser settings, you may be prompted to authenticate only once during each browser session.

Authentication Instructions for AD Account Users
Clicking on a part, lesson, or data file from the Workbooks and Data Files pages opens a login dialog box. Follow the authentication instructions below to access these files.
- In the User name box, type your domain followed by a backslash (ad\) and your user ID.
- In the Password box, type your password.
- Click the OK button.

Authentication Instructions for PINE Account Users
Clicking on a part, lesson, or data file from the Workbooks and Data Files pages opens a login dialog box. Follow the authentication instructions below to access these files.
- In the User name box, type your user name.
- In the Password box, type your password.
- Click the OK button.

Authentication Instructions for NIS Account Users
Clicking on a part, lesson, or data file from the Workbooks and Data Files pages opens a login dialog box. Follow the authentication instructions below to access these files.
- In the User name box, type your domain followed by a backslash (nis\) and your user name.
- In the Password box, type your password.
- Click the OK button.
