How to Download and Extract the Data Files
The Microsoft Office workbooks include corresponding data files that can be used for hands-on practice. The data files are stored in self-extracting archives. The archives must be downloaded and executed in order to extract the data files.

Downloading and Extracting Office 2007 Data Files
Select a Microsoft Office 2007 Workbooks and Data Files page from the main menu and navigate to the desired application table.
Under the Data Files column, click the link for the archive file you want to download.

If prompted, authenticate with a valid PINE, NIS, or CSLA account. For instructions, please visit the How to Authenticate page.
The File Download - Security Warning dialog box opens. Click the Run button.

An Internet Explorer - Security Warning dialog box may open stating that "The publisher could not be verified." Click the Run button to confirm that you want to run the executable file.

The WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box opens. Click the Browse button and specify a location to save the data files.

Click the Unzip button. A message pops up stating that the files were unzipped successfully.

Click the OK button.
Click the Close button to close the WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box.
The data files can now be accessed using Windows Explorer. As you go through each lesson in the workbooks, double-click the corresponding data files to open them in the appropriate application and follow along the step-by-step instructions.

Select a Microsoft Office 2003 Workbooks and Data Files page from the main menu and navigate to the desired application table.
Under the Data Files column, click the link for the archive file you want to download.

The WinRAR self-extracting archive dialog box opens. Click the Browse button and specify a location to save the data files.

Click the Install button. The WinRAR self-extracting archive dialog box closes automatically once the extraction process is completed.
