This page provides users with one central location for all Microsoft Office online training resources. It includes interactive tutorials, downloadable workbooks and data files, and step-by-step handouts that can be used for self-paced training.
Office.com Training
The Office.com Training website offers online courses on Microsoft Office applications. Each course consists of a self-paced lesson, a practice session for hands-on experience, a short test, and a quick reference card that can be printed. These courses can be used to learn new skills or to refresh skills that are used once in a while. The courses in the Make the switch to Office 2010 series are designed to help make the transition from previous versions of Microsoft Office to Microsoft Office 2010 smoother for all users who plan to upgrade.
Workbooks and Data Files
The ITS Training Program provides downloadable workbooks on Microsoft Office applications. The workbooks include step-by-step tutorials and are accompanied by sample data files that can be used for hands-on practice. The files are password protected and can be accessed by current Cal State L.A. students, faculty and staff with a myCSULA Identity account. Step-by-step instructions are available on how to authenticate and how to download the workbooks and data files.

The ITS Training Program provides interactive tutorials on Microsoft Office applications and Windows Vista. These online training modules allow users to view the steps of how the program works, to try the steps hands-on, and to test their knowledge of the steps before finishing up with a review of the material. The modules are password protected and can be accessed by current Cal State L.A. students, faculty and staff with a myCSULA Identity account.
