Collaborate on Documents with Team Members

Available only on FrontPage 2002 as an integration tool with SharePoint Services

With Office 2003 teams can create co-author, modify, and review files using "Document Workspaces". Separately, shared attachments can also be co-authored using Outlook 2003. A "Shared Workspace" task pane is available on Office Excel 2003, PowerPoint 2003, and Word 2003. SharePoint Services is still available.

|
Viewing multiple calendars next to one's own, scheduling a meeting, and exporting event information is available through Outlook Calendar.

Viewing changes by specific reviewers with markups in both Word and Powerpoint is available. Acceptance or rejection of changes can be done one at a time or all at once.

Digital certification showing originater and simple password security is available on Word and Excel.

Information Rights Management (IRM) is now available restricting who can open files on Excel 2003, Outlook 2003, PowerPoint 2003, and Word 2003. Also, documents can now have an expiration date in which they can no longer be viewed. And, one can create IRM organizational policy templates to control document exchange per organizational policy.

Preventing E-Mail Overload
|
An E-Mail Viewing Pane, email filtering (including block sender), spam filtering, and folderization of incoming mail are available.

All features are enhanced, and a "ghost" pop-up announcement of incoming mail is now available. This new announcement pop-up allows one to do basic functions without opening Outlook.

Organizing Your E-Mail Inbox
|
Outlook priortizes Inbox by only date, from, to, and a few other fields.

Outlook 2003 offers arranged by "Conversation" option which shows only unread or marked e-mail specific to a conversation. Also, six color coded "Quick Flags" are available to find email automatically put in folders from a "For Follow Up" folder. There's also a "Search Folder" to use when needed eliminating rerunning searches.

One can save time by using integrated tools among Office Products and Office Online Services.

The integration tools have been improved with the addition of "Research and Reference" task frame which brings online information directly into Excel 2003, Outlook 2003, PowerPoint 2003, and Word 2003.
