Voice Mail Purchase Requests
The Voice Processing System handles voice mail. Users may purchase a voice mailbox for a one-time fee of $100.00. This fee can be paid from a departmental operating expense account, a grant or contract account, or by a personal check.
All incoming requests are processed by the last day of the month in which the request is received. Programming the voice mail function normally takes two working days. Users can generally expect their voice mail to be operational within one week of submitting a completed request form and payment.
How to Request Voice Mail
Complete the Voice Mail Purchase Requisition form (available at http://www.calstatela.edu/its/forms). Requisitions must be approved by the department chair or manager. Requisitions without the proper approval will be returned to the department.
Submit the completed requisition to the ITS Help Desk (LIB PW 1070).
The user will be notified when the new voice mail is operational.

To ensure system security, user passwords automatically expire every 90 days. When you enter the system, you will be notified that your password has expired. You will be instructed to enter a new password. Enter your new password and press #, then re-enter the new password to confirm and press #.Note You cannot reuse the expiring password; previous passwords can be reused after one year.
