CSU-Microsoft Enterprise Agreement
The California State University has entered into a three-year agreement with Microsoft Software that provides software for thousands of CSU students, faculty, and staff.
Microsoft Campus Agreement
Microsoft products are widely used across campus and often the product of choice purchased for personal use by Cal State L.A. users. The Microsoft Campus Agreement is an attractive option with beneficial, low-cost advantages. The agreement does not prevent Cal Sate L.A. faculty and staff from using other software; they continue to have the option to use any software they choose on their computers. It will be useful, however, for those who depend on Microsoft titles for professional and personal productivity.
Through the Microsoft Campus Agreement, CSULA faculty and staff are eligible to purchase a second copy of selected Microsoft titles for work-at-home (WAH) use. The WAH program allows faculty and staff to install a copy of the covered application(s) on their home computers where the faculty or staff member is the primary user. The WAH CDs are different from the CDs used to install software on CSU-owned computers; the WAH CDs may not be duplicated and require their own key code for installation.
Look to Faculty/Staff for information about distribution and eligibility.
Faculty/Staff WAH Software for Purchase
- Microsoft Office 2010 Professional (system requirements)
- Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac (system requirements)
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 (system requirements)
In addition to this program, there is the JourneyEd online program where both Microsoft, Adobe, and other products can be obtained at a discount. Please visit the CSULA journeyed.com homepage.
