How-To Install Magic

Magic is a screen magnifying tool for visually impared.  Installation can done only as administrator on a desktop machine.

1. Due to licensing and other factors, Magic can be installed on a Desktop machine only after installing Jaws. License servers should already be part of the desktop's configuration.
   
   
2. Load the CD. An Installer should pop up. Click Magic Setup.

   
   
   

3. The Installshield Wizard runs.
   
   
   

4. Click next to setup package.
   
   
   

5. Click Yes to licensing agreement.
   
   

6. If you are an expert at the product, change the radio button. Otherwise, just click Next.
   
   
   

7. Click Yes.
   
   
   

8. No need to fix property pages like in Jaws. Here is the Hotkey. Click Next.
   
   
   

9. Training options. Click whatever you want.
   
   
   

10. Training options. Click whatever you want.
    
    
    

11. That's it. Magic is stalled. Click Finish.
    
    
    

12. You might want to launch Magic to test if it's working correctly. If not, contact the Desktop Group.
