Software Installation Request Page

This form should be used to request the installation Office 2011 for Mac on any Mac OS X 10.5.5 or greater campus computer


  • Requests with missing information may delay the installation of software.
  • The software will be installed on your baseline provided computer no later than five business days.


  1. Fill out and submit the form below.
  2. Upon submission, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
  3. You may be contacted for further information or instructions.
  4. Use the following to find out your Computer Name:
    • Mac - Click Apple to System Preferences then select Sharing. The computer name appears as "Computer Name" on that page.
    • Mac - Click Apple to System Preferences then select Network. The IP address appears in the middle box.

Requests made before 3PM may be processed after 5PM the same day. All installations occur at night after 5PM.

To facilitate the installation,

  • Leave your PC or Laptop on and connected to the wired network.
  • Close all MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Remain logged on. Use Ctrl-Alt-Delete to lock your computer.
