Four Students Win Laptops in Security Awareness Drawings
Cheryl Costello, Anisha Dickey, Ruben Garcia, and Sonu Upadhyay are the lucky winners of HP Compaq 6720s Notebook PCs. The University held three drawings during the fall 2007 and winter 2008 quarters to publicize the both information security and the importance of NIS accounts. Students were encouraged to pick up and start using their NIS accounts and e-mail. An NIS account is now required to access all campus computing resources, including Library and OAL computers. And, NIS e-mail accounts are now used as one of the official means of communicating with students. Read their stories and reactions to winning by clicking on their pictures or names.
