Arrive early for your class. The Lecture Hall should be unlocked. If the door is locked, contact Campus Police at ext. 3-3700 and someone should be out to unlock it in 10-30 minutes.

Lower the Projection Screen by pressing the switch, which is to the left of the chalkboard.
- This console has been modified and reduced in size. The procedure to operate the Console has also been varied.
- Unlock the console using the four-digit code that was provided to you. Every console has a different combination. You must push in the shackle then pull it to release the padlock.
- The top of the console contain the monitor on the left and the Laptop port on the far right corner.
- Inside the console, you will find a DVD/VCR combo at the top and a PC and Mac at the bottom right. To the left of the DVD/VCR combo are the keyboards, and below it is the Microphone.
- Turn on the computer that you are going to use. PC users will need to log on using their NIS accounts.
Note:
If you can't log on, click on the Option button located on the bottom right
of your Log On screen to make sure the domain is NIS.

The remote control for the Multimedia Projector is located
under the DVD/VCR player. Point it directly at the Multimedia
Projector, and press the Power button to turn it on. It takes
a minute to warm up.
- To display what is on the computer, press the button labeled Comp1.
- To display what is on the Laptop or Document Camera, press the button labeled Comp2/YCbCr.
- To display what is playing on the DVD/VCR Player, press the button labeled Video.

When you first come in the Multimedia Projector should have a steady
orange light.
When you press power on the remote the steady orange light will change to a blinking green light. This means that the Multimedia Projector is warming up. After it finishes that phase you will see a steady green light, meaning that it is done warming up.

To use the Laptop, connect the VGA Laptop cables to the
External Monitor Port. Remember to change your Laptop
resolution to 800X600. To display what is on the laptop, press the
button labeled Comp2/YCbCr from the Multimedia
Projector remote control.
Note:
You can adjust the audio volume by pressing on the Volume button
on the Multimedia Projector control.top
  - The Remote Control for the Multimedia Projector is located above the DVD/VCR combo. Point it directly at the Multimedia Projector, and press the Power button to turn it on. It takes a minute to warm up.

- To display what is on the laptop, press the Comp2/YCbCr
- To use the DVD/VCR combo, power on the system. Select the device (DVD or VCR) you want to use from the Remote Control. To display what is playing on the DVD/VCR, press the button labeled Video from you Multimedia Projector remote control.
Note:
You can adjust the volume for the audio using the
Multimedia Projector control,
by pressing on the Volume button.

To use the Document Camera, power on the system.
Swing out the left and right lamps and rise and adjust
the camera lens before use. Controls on the front include pause,
zoom in, and zoom out buttons. In addition to displaying traditional
transparencies,
this device can display any three dimensional object. To
display what is on the Document Camera, press the button
labeled Comp2/YCbCr from the Multimedia Projector
remote control.

  - The Microphone is On. You can adjust the Mic volume using the Mic Level knob.

To turn off the Multimedia Projector, aim the Remote Control at it and press the Power button again. The steady green light will change to a flashing orange light, which indicates that it is cooling down. After it cycles through this phase, the light will change to a steady orange light as you saw it when you first came in, meaning that it is once again off.
- When you are done using the console, relock the padlock by changing the tumblers (numbers) and pushing the shackle in. Pull on it to be sure it is locked.
- When leaving the Lecture Hall, you may leave the doors unlocked. Eagle Patrol locks them every night.
