How to Avoid URT Contention on a Laptop
If you have both Wireless and LAN enabled on a laptop, it's likely that getting an IP through URT will hang if the binding order has Wireless listed first. The standard solution is to put LAN first in the binding order.
- As administrator, go to the Network Connections page: Start->Control Panel->Network Connections.

- Pull down the Advanced tab and select "Advanced Settings..."

- Using select/highlight and the green arrow tool, rearrange the order so that the LAN connection occurs before the Wireless.

- Click OK.
