HP Website.   After you click on the link above, the auto

Once you are in the "Gemstore" site, you have a choice to order a baseline machine or customize it as needed.   If you want to start with a pre-approved baseline baseline machine (which HP calls "Standard"),
click on one of the product "Standards":

You can use this quote to order your machine with all the other standard procurement materials (mentioned later in document).
However, if you want to customize, click the type of machine
wanted (such as Desktops or Notebooks).
This will bring you to the types of machines in that category.
Click "Select".

Select "Built for you" whenever available. Click "Select".

Click "Customize".
All models listed can be upgraded or enhanced beyond the baseline minimum using
the drop down boxes as shown in the graphic below:

Go to the bottom of the page.

After customizing, set aside a new Quote by selecting "Add to Cart" to be referenced by
our HP Representative (more information further down in this procedure).

Leasing rates vary as do purchase prices. Currently,
exact lease payments will not be known until the purchasing department and
HP Computers agree to a leasing schedule. For
Macintosh, there is an option to purchase equipment for an amount not to
exceed the Fair Market Value (FMV) of the equipment upon the expiration of
lease. For HP, departments have the option of selecting a $1.00 Buy-out
if the order is larger than $5,000.00, otherwise it will be a Fair Market
Value (FMV) lease. Contact Nancy Clausen in the
purchasing department for details.
