Microsoft Office 2010 and Windows 7 Operating System Conversion
Project Description
Most campus users are already taking advantage of the Microsoft Office 2010 release. For those who are not, the deadline to upgrade this application, and Windows 7, is coming at the end of winter quarter. The campus is currently testing Windows 8 OS with excellent results. Microsoft Office 2013 is in testing and poised for rollout in fall 2013 quarter. Additionally, Office 365, an exciting new cloud-based service for e-mail and data storage that is coming in the future, will require Office 2010 for full functionality. More information about the Office 365 project will be posted on this website as the project moves forward. Therefore, we must ready the campus for these new releases by completing the campus conversion to Windows 7 and Office 2010.
