India Summer Program

Program Snapshot:

The course will address global health, and specifically prevention through participation in a community based health and literacy camp in India that has been established by Arodhum, a non-profit organization. Arodhum focuses on development in often overlooked rural communities by identifying, nurturing, and developing the potential that exists in rural children. Arodhum has also developed wellness health camps which provide a systematic way to ensure preventative health care for rural children.

Dates:  June 22 - July 10

Language of Instruction:  English
  • GPA of 2.75 or higher
Units:  4 units 
Housing: Hotel Accommodations will be provided.
Program Cost:  $3,681 per person  (includes one-4 unit course, housing, fieldtrips, domestic van transportation, medical insurance, PaGE administrative costs).  Airfare and personal spending are NOT included in the program cost.
