Scope of Work: Project shall address and prioritize replacement and upgrades to components of the lighting and elevator systems. Project will also address existing deficiencies in the HVAC, telecommunications, security and electrical systems. The main library entry shall be expanded and rearranged to better accommodate both new electronic information technologies and better workflow between the entry/exit control point and the main circulation desk. These improvements will support the full range of support services that student’s need for academic success in a learning based environment.

Scope of Work: The proposed Science Building Wing B completes the Replacement Science Building, consisting of Wing A (recently completed in Aug 2008) and the proposed Wing B. The proposed Wing B will be three stories and a total of 94,000 square feet. Wing B will be devoted primarily to wet laboratories and fume hood intensive space to meet the needs of the Natural and Allied Health Departments. The Science Replacement Building would contribute to the creation of a consolidated science zone on campus, which will unify the science programs, decrease pedestrian distances between science classes, and foster a more cohesive environment that promotes science curriculum to potential enrollees. The University proposes a planetarium on the third floor of Wing B.

The site is approximately 160 feet wide by 200 feet long. The building will be bordered by the Campus Drive and Paseo Rancho Castilla intersection.
