INTRODUCTION

Primary interest include educational issues and experiences of students of color in higher education, specifically Chicana and Chicano students.


TEACHING INTERESTS

Teaching interests include Chicano studies courses focused on education, culture and history.


RESEARCH INTERESTS

Research interests are focused on understanding the dynamics of college preparation for first-generation college students. Primary goal is to expand on the dissertation, Chicana College Choice and Resistance.
