Objectives:
This course will provide the students with an understanding of the fundamentals of computers and computer nomenclature, particularly with respect to personal computer hardware and software, the Web, and enterprise computing. It includes a concise, yet comprehensive introduction to both computer concepts and Microsoft Office 2010 on lectures and lab sessions.

The lab experiments are designed and intended to complement the material presented in the lectures in order to strengthen the students' understanding of the computer concepts. Specifically, the lab provides an overview of microcomputer applications including an introduction to Microsoft Word 2010, Microsoft Excel 2010, Microsoft Access 2010, Microsoft PowerPoint 2010, and Microsoft Outlook 2010. Students are expected to be well prepared when they come to the lab in order to make the most efficient use of their time.
