Description:
This course will provide the students with an understanding of microcomputer system
fundamentals and help the students improve their computer use. The Lab experiments are designed
and intended to complement the material presented in CIS100 lectures in order to strengthen the
students' understanding of the material. Specifically, this course provides an overview of microcomputer
applications including a brief introduction to computer concepts and Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office
Word/Excel/Access/PowerPoint/Outlook, creating Web pages, and integration of the applications.
Students are expected to be well prepared when they come to the lab in order to make the most efficient
use of their time.
