Responsibility: Evaluation of pricing, marketing and credit policies in the coffee and basic grains subsectors of the Honduran agricultural sector. Conducted extensive interviews with officials in coffee and grain marketing agencies, exporters, economists in the Central Bank, and the agricultural development bank. Evaluated credit schemes of coffee marketing organization. Participated in evaluation of costs of lending and borrowing of farmers and agricultural development banks, calculated transaction costs and lending costs of coffee credit scheme. Undertook data analysis and production of research reports.
