INTRODUCTION

Dr. Stephanie Evans is the coordinator of the Urban Learning program. She is also the associate chairperson of the Division of Educational Foundations and Interdivisional Studies.


TEACHING INTERESTS

Dr. Evans' teaching interest include courses in Educational Psychology as well as Educational Sociology and Urban Education. She hopes to bring second language acquisitions skills to all students.


RESEARCH INTERESTS

Dr. Evans' research interests include Cuban Education and Cuban American exchange education in literacy education. She has done extensive research on Black dialect and urban education.
