Dr. Shackelford has researched and initiated a computerized inventory system and assisted in the direction of administration and staff services: including planning, research, special projects, reports, legislative review and personnel administration. In addition, he has developed and implemented, in cooperation with the Department of Personnel, the Fire Department Affirmative Action Recruitment Program.
