Course Substitution |

Overview
At the beginning of the MSIS program, a student is required to meet with the Principal Advisor to draft his or her program by selecting the courses to be completed for the program. From time to time, due to compelling circumstances, a student may want to substitute a course in place of one that appears in the list of courses elected for the MSIS program.
The Process
The student wanting to substitute a course must obtain permission from the Principal Advisor prior to registering for the course. Moreover, 400 level courses, in general, are not allowed to be substituted in place of 500 level courses.
There is a form to be filled for course substitution that could be obtained from the advisor. Once the course substitution request is approved and signed by the advisor, the student is required to take the form to the Advisement Center located at SHC 256B for processing. Students are advised to keep a copy of all documents delivered to the Advisement Center.
