Welcome to the Winter 2008 quarter of instruction.

This website will be the focal point of dissemination of information for CIS 485. Please go through all the links on this website to obtain various information about the course.

First week's coverage will include an overview of the course and the description of this website, the adding and dropping of students from the roaster, and the coverage of lectures slated for week 1. Note that none of the students will be dropped and there is still space to add more students. If you want to add, please submit your name to the office at the department located on the sixth floor of Simpson Tower.

Please read the slides corresponding to Week 1 listed under the section entitled Lectures before you come to the class. It is especially recommended for students who have not been exposed to Computers and Communications.
