1	Welcome to the Winter 2009 quarter of instruction. Please note that this subject has a lecture and a lab section. Ensure that you are enrolled in both sections. This website will be the focal point of dissemination of information for CIS 100. Please go through all the links on this website to obtain various information about the course. First week's coverage will include an overview of the course and this website, the adding and dropping of students from the roaster, and the coverage of Chapter 1. Please read Chapter 1 before you come to the class. It is especially recommended for students who have had minimum exposure to computing. I wish you a successful quarter!
