This handout explains step-by-step how to enroll in your MathXL course. (The handout is dated Fall 2009, be aware that there have been changes since then.)

Here is the Winter 2013 list of MathXL Course IDs. You will need to enter the Course ID for your class in order to enroll in MathXL.

MathXL can be used on all on-campus open-access computer labs except those in the library and the engineering labs. If you are having any difficulty using MathXL on campus, please contact me ASAP at mkrebs AT calstatela DOT edu.

Here's a tip: If you are having trouble with MathXL at home, you can call Pearson's MathXL Support line at 1-800-677-6337 Mon-Fri, 5am to 5pm or Sun, 2pm to 9pm. Calling this number will be most effective if you can call while you are on the computer experiencing the trouble. More info about MathXL Support, both for students and for instructors, can be found by clicking the Support tab at www.mathxl.com.
