Introduction
Dr. Adamian received his Bachelor of Science from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. There he majored in Political Science and Psychology with a minor is Philosophy. He graduated from Wayne State University Law School and practiced law for Constitutional Litigation Associates, P.C. in Detroit, Michigan. He also attended Colorado State University where he received his Ph.D. in political science. He has been teaching at CSULA since 2006. He is a pre law advisor and the faculty advisor for Pre Law Society, Alpha Epsilon Omega (the Armenian Fraternity), the Armenian Student Association, the International Relief Organization, and the Mock Trial Club.
Teaching Interest
Dr. Adamian teaches and advises students in the pre law program. He believes that students learn best when they are encouraged to participate in class discussions and typically uses a combination of lecture, discussion, and group assignments in his courses. He regularly teaches courses on American government, judicial process, federalism, civil rights, civil liberties, international law, comparative legal systems, rights and justice in communication and politics, mock trial, and legal research and writing.
Research
Dr. Adamian's research interests include U.S. domestic and international law, civil rights and civil liberties, environmental law and politics, political theory, and global politics.
