This program was really fun and a great experience. I was able to go out a lot, meet fantastic people, and work at the same time. It’s an experience I would never trade for the world. It seems like I’ve known these people forever, and we’re like one family. I extremely appreciate all the hard work that was put into planning and running this program. Apartment #: 2206 Roommate: Christopher Williams What did you think about living in your apartment? My apartment is great. My roommates are fun to hang around with, and we have a lot of fun. What did you learn from being in an apartment with other people? I learned the different styles of living from my roommates. I was also able to learn how to cook some of their food. Describe what you did and learned at your summer work site. At my worksite, Northrop Grumman Space Technology, I learned quite a bit. I mainly focused on System Engineering, with computer programming. I read a Systems Engineering Course to get an idea of the use of the program I was going to be helping create. I then had to learn the computer language C#, which is a combination of C+, Java, and Visual Basic. What was your favorite experience at NASA SHARP? I would have to say my favorite experience was going to watch the WNBA game between LA Sparks and Seattle Storm. It was my first time going to watch a professional basketball game in a huge stadium. It was really fun cheering for them too. I was on the verge of losing all of my voice, but I luckily got I got it back the same night.
