INTRODUCTION

Having retired in 2014 I still maintain a part time teaching position in the Department of Technology at Cal State LA. I like to continue to inspire my students with my 30 plus years of teaching experiences while transitioning into my full retirement sometimes in the future.

TEACHING INTERESTS

My 30 plus years teaching interests fall into three categories: electronics, networking, and graduate level professional courses. Below are some course titles in each category:

Electronics:

DC and AC Electronics, Solid State Electronics, Linear Electronics, Digital Electronics, Microprocessors, Industrial Controls, Programmable Controls, Mechratronics, Robotics, Automation Electronics, Computer Electronics

Networking:

Networking Fundamentals, Cisco Routing, Cisco Switching, Wide Area Network, Cisco Network Security

Professional:

Research Methodology, Modern Industry, Supervision of Vocational Education

I was the Coordinator of Cal State LA Cisco Newtworking Academy helping our IT, CIS, and CS students obtain CCNA certifications to strengthen their credentials.  I also did a lot of theses advising for graduate students before retiring.
