Dietary Goals for Americans
- similar to WHO page 41
- Fat at no more than 30% of Calories
- saturated/polyunsaturated/monounsaturated = 1.1.1
- cholesterol no higher than 300mg
- Carbohydrates at 55-60% of Calories
- added sugars at no more than 10% of Calories
- dietary fiber at 25-40 grams per day
- Protein at 10-15% of Calories
