Introduction
J. Kim Miller has been a full time faculty member at Cal State L.A. since 1989. She has taught in both undergraduate and graduate programs. In addition, she has been the Associate Director of Education Programs at the Edward R. Roybal Institute for Applied Gerontology since 1995.
Teaching Interest
Family Nursing, Professional Development for R.N. to B.S.N. students, and Gerontological Nursisng. Coordinator of the Applied Gerontology Certificate Program.
Research Interest
Research interest and experience include issues related to aging, Alzheimer's caregiving among various cultural groups, cultural responses to menopause, and health beliefs and health practices of Asian and Pacific Islanders.
