Introduction
I have worked in the aviation industry since 1984 and have been involved in aviation education since 1993. In 1984 I began my involvement in airport finance, working as a financial analyst for O'Hare Associates, consultant to the City of Chicago for the $2 billion expansion of O'Hare Airport. In 1987 I was invited to join the City of Chicago's aviation planning team to help coordinate the capital improvement projects being planned, designed and constructed within the Chicago airport system. In 1991, I joined a consortium of consultants representing the international air carriers at O'Hare.
