sounds like "fa", which means to make a fortune, to acquire wealth,
or to become rich. On the other hand, the pronunciation for the number 4
is "si", which could accidentally sound like "si" in
a different tone, which means death. Many Chinese avoid the digit 4 in their
phone number and home address. They often choose the digit 8 if at all possible.
